Thank to the amazing Sammie Bally and Mike Holloway for being roped in to make this short film with me! Despite it being for a competition I’ve wanted to make more live action short films on a small scale and after film school and after months and months of nothing happening, it happened cause of this cool contest. This was a cool new experience of having a minimal crew (i.e just me playing with LED’s and the ronin-s) and directing my friends (and girlfriend) as actors which was a bit of a learning curve (and a bit unusual cause of the script).
I was completely perplexed when writing the script, going from extremely dark (a murder suicide) to this comedy (I think I chose the right one).
